This statement explains which data www.zdravko.tech collects about visitors, why, and what you can do about it. The site is run by Zdravko Angelov in the Netherlands, who is responsible for this data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Visitor statistics (Google Analytics)
With your permission, the site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to see which pages and articles are read. Google Analytics is only loaded after you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, or make no choice, no data is sent to Google and no analytics cookies are set.
After you accept, Google Analytics collects:
- the pages you visit, how long you stay and the site that referred you;
- your browser, device type, screen size and language;
- your approximate location (country and city), derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID> to recognize a returning browser. These
expire after at most two years. The data is used only for anonymous statistics about the site. It is not used for
advertising, not combined with other Google data, and not shared with anyone else. Statistics are kept for at most
14 months.
Google acts as a processor for this service. Data may be processed in the United States, under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. See Google’s privacy policy for details.
Changing your choice
Your choice is stored in your own browser (local storage, not a cookie) and is asked again after 12 months. Use Cookie settings at the bottom of every page to change it at any time. If you withdraw your permission, the analytics cookies are removed.
Server logs
Like any web server, the server that hosts this site keeps technical logs of requests: your IP address, the requested page, the time and your browser. These logs are used only for security and troubleshooting, are not shared and are deleted after a limited period.
Links to other sites
The site links to other sites, such as LinkedIn and Credly. Their own privacy policies apply once you follow such a link.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to its use. Because the statistics cannot be linked to a name, the easiest way to remove them is to withdraw your permission and delete your cookies. For questions or requests, contact Zdravko Angelov through LinkedIn. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
